The latest planning applications for the JQ are mostly about listed buildings.
It’s been a quiet couple of months on the planning application front (thankfully, as it’s been a bit manic prior to that). The latest applications are on the attached document and if you want to study the plans, just click the blue hyperlink for each one.
They include listed building applications for the:
- George and Dragon
- Legge Lane
JQDT Planning Tracker 12th August 2014 – for publication
And some jiggery-pokery with the conditions for the huge Paradise Circus scheme on the edge of the JQ.
We’re please to report:
- The proposed takeaway for George St has been withdrawn (the residents directly above will be relieved!)
- The proposed conversion of Victory House opposite the Actress & Bishop has been refused, thereby saving any future noise complaints.
The JQNF makes representations to Birmingham City Council via the Jewellery Quarter Development Trust’s monthly planning meetings, the next one being on Tuesday 19th August.
