Useful Information
So you are living in the Jewellery Quarter and want to know what services are available to you! If you don’t find what you are looking for here – please let us know and we’ll add it – thanks.
There are now an estimated 5,00 people living in the Quarter and a Jewellery Quarter Neighbourhood Forum (JQNF) has been formed to both lobby on behalf of the residential population but also provide a networking facility for local residents. The JQNF is one of the members of the Jewellery Quarter Development Trust (JQDT).
The Quarter is a great place to live with over 30 restaurants and bars. Located facilities include Police Station, a Post Office, two Tesco Supermarkets. There is a new Health Centre and Pharmacy located at the bottom of Warstone Lane.
Other facilities include gyms, a Holistic Centre and a Yoga Studios.
The Quarter itself is also well served by public transport from bus to tram and is only 15 minutes stroll away from the facilities of the City Centre.
The Quarter is a designated Conservation Area with many historic buildings and with a still vibrant jewellery trade it provides a more unique alternative to the normal city living experience.
