This web platform has been developed to support the @MyJQ twitter account. It is intended for personal use as a virtual hyperlocal model of the Jewellery Quater in Birmingham.



The site aggregates news and social media information from the public domain into a semantic network based on the principle of 5Ws. This provides a methodology for categorising and linking information, so that it can be captured and retrieved in useful ways.
